Champion Chisel Shipping Policy

Most orders are shipped same day or within one business day from order date.  We are a small business and have cut off times for shipping - including next day day and expedited shipping options.. If you require expedited shipping, please call us BEFORE you place your order to make sure your expectations can be met.  Items that are not in stock may take 1-4 weeks to ship.  Drilling items including masonry bits, whirley bits, and drill steel may take 5-7 days to ship.  

Orders qualifying for free freight will be shipped to one destination in one shipment (no backorders) on our preferred carrier. Champion Chisel Works will select the shipping point, routing, and carrier for all prepaid shipments.

Website Freight Policy

Shipping rates are calculated during the checkout process and are based on the weight of the items ordered as well as the shipping address.  Rates are quoted directly from Fedex or UPS and do not include customs fees, taxes or any other charges that may be applicable to International shipments. 

Free Shipping

Get free standard shipping (3–5 business days) on most orders $100 or more placed through our website within the continental United States.

Free shipping does not apply to:

• Orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, or APO/FPO addresses

• Orders containing chisels 48" or longer

• Overnight, expedited, or international shipping

• Orders using product pricing discounts

Standard Freight Policy

Single shipment discount pricing orders qualify for free or reduced standard freight as follows:

Steel orders based on net order value:
$100 - $2,499     Customer pays total freight.
$2,500 or more    Free standard freight.

Air Tool orders based on net order value:
$4,000 or more    Free standard freight.

*Free freight policy applies only to orders shipping to the lower 48 states of the United States.

*Standard freight does not include LTL accessorial charges such as fees for over length shipments, lift gate services, delivery appointments, etc.  These charges will be added to the invoice accordingly.

Shipping Options

All prices are FOB Shipping Point. We will try to select the best method for your order's prompt arrival.  Customs Fees, Import Taxes & Brokerage Fees are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in any freight costs or estimates.  Verify your shipping address before you submit your order to ensure the quickest possible delivery.

Freight charges are prepaid and added to the customer's invoice. Ground is standard for all shipments but expedited is available by request during check out.  We do offer the option of sending orders collect through a customer's preferred carrier - please contact customer service for more details.

Freight Claims

Occasionally shipping damages can occur when shipping a heavy product such as steel or air tools. Champion Chisel Works makes every effort to ensure that your shipment arrives on time and in good condition. Freight damage claims must be made against the common carrier; therefore, it is imperative that all parties work together and the following guidelines are followed:

1. Inspect all shipments upon arrival. If damage is noticed upon delivery, do not accept the shipment until you make notation of the damage to the delivering carrier.

2. If you notice damage or loss for a shipment, do not throw away the packing materials or the carton or there will be no basis for a claim.

3. Contact Champion Chisel Works immediately so we may start a claim process with the carrier. Cooperation is essential between the shipper, carrier and consignee to receive proper claim payments.

4. If you do not follow these guidelines, Champion Chisel Works will not be able to file a claim.
